The White Solero is made from a blend of Tokay,
with smaller amounts of Pedro Ximenes and Verdelho. This wine
is deep amber in color with a golden core. It shows lovely complex
raisins, honey and toffee characters on the nose and palate,
finishing silky smooth.

The Red Solero is made from a blend of Shiraz
and Grenache. This wine is a rich brick red color with a tawny
hue. The nose and palate display intense prune, raisins and
stewed plums with nuances of licorice and dark chocolate

Pedro Ximenes Dessert Wine |
|
The majority of Pedro Ximenes fruit used to make
this delicious dessert wine is picked at the dried raisin stage.
The wine is fortified with white spirit and 5 year old brandy,
and matured in old brandy casks. The nose shows intense honey
and raisin characters with ripe stone fruits and hints of toffee.
The palate displays rich, complex flavors of sweet apricot,
honey and raisins with incredible texture and consistency across
the palate.

The Reserve Muscat is Solero blended from over
10 vintages with a percentage of 1961 Muscat. Through many years
of blending and ageing in old oak casks, this wine has truly
developed great complexity and layers of character. The nose
displays intense and complex characters of ripe figs, raisins,
hints of roasted coffee beans and caramel. This flows perfectly
through to the palate, showing flavors of sweet raisin, toffee
and honey.
